As one of techniques to improve a penetration depth in gas tungsten arc welding, it has been proposed that carbon dioxide is applied as shielding using double torch. Two types gases can flow independently the torch: inner and outer gas. The purpose this study was clarification behavior establish guideline for controlling oxygen contamination which affects toughness welded part formed by welding process. result, revealed transported vicinity central axis electrode vortex generated near electrode. Then, produced dissociation dioxide. It suggested dissociated increased concentration flowing on base metal surface.
